UUNIK (pronounced 'unique') Academy is a rites of passage program dedicated to the holistic development of African American youth within the Knoxville community in order to produce responsible adults.
We are co-sponsoring our 2nd annual ACT Prep Sessions targeting African American youth, 8th through 10th grades. The purpose is to introduce, prepare, and provide successful strategies to master the ACT test.
The Kickoff session will be on October 28th at Haslam Business College, University of Tennessee (1000 Volunteer Blvd). The Kickoff session will include workshops dealing with topics such as Financial Aid (FAFSA), preparing for college as well as ACT guidelines. There will be four Saturday ACT workshops following the Kickoff session.
